New poll shows Hillary Clinton ahead of Marco Rubio, trails Jeb Bush

Florida voters more likely to vote for Bush than Clinton, but voters prefer Clinton to Rubio

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A new Quinnipiac University poll shows former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton trailing former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush in a hypothetical White House run in 2016.

The new poll shows 42 percent of Florida voters would vote for Clinton, while 45 percent said they would vote for Jeb Bush.

Clinton fared better against U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. In that match-up, she gained 46 percent of the votes compared to Rubio's 44 percent.

Fifty-one percent of Florida voters said Clinton's email problems are "very important" or "somewhat important" in their vote for president, and 38 percent said they are less likely to vote for her because of this issue, while 56 percent said it won't affect their vote.

The poll was taken by Quinnipiac University and released Tuesday.
