NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. – No charges have been filed against the driver involved in a fatal crash in North Lauderdale.
The crash happened in the 1900 block of Southwest 81st Avenue about 8:45 p.m. Monday.

The Broward Sheriff's Office says Jose Gomez, 74, was crossing the street when he was hit by a car driven by Vien Chi Tran. Gomez wasn't in a crosswalk at the time.
Gomez was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center, where he died.
