It's been four days and there is still no sign of Shaina McBride from Fort Lauderdale.
On Monday, divers searched the water behind her family's boat off Isle of Venice and bloodhounds helped in the search for the 14-year-old on land. Still, rescue efforts have turned up nothing so far.
Her brother told Local 10 News that their father, David McBride, has been barely able to sleep.
"He maybe has slept two hours in the last four days," said Benne McBride.
Shaina's worried brother flew in from Idaho to help out and said Shaina is the youngest out of seven siblings.
The family insists that she didn’t run away, and said she was on good terms with everyone.
"Right now we are just on autopilot," said Benne. "It kind of seems like a dream. Hopefully it ends up good and not a bad dream."
On Monday, volunteers also went door to door passing out flyers, including people on vacation.
"I kind of just felt bad and that's why I wanted to get involved," said Nadia Decobellis, who volunteered in the search for Shaina.
Police said they have no concrete leads as to where Shaina could be or what could have happened to her.
