MIAMI -

Officials say a road has reopened to traffic after a train derailed near Miami International Airport.

The incident happened Monday afternoon near 25th Street and Northwest 67th Avenue in Miami.

According to a Florida East Coast Railway spokesperson, two of the train's cars had their locomotive wheels come off the tracks because of a misalignment.

The train was moving very slowly as it entered the rail yard. Authorities were able to bring in some equipment and move the train's cars away from 25th Street.

Officials said the roadway reopened for traffic after 9 p.m. Monday. No one was injured due to the incident.
