Teen killed; Woman waiting at bus stop wounded

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Two people have been taken into custody after a fatal shooting in Miami.

The shooting occurred about noon Monday near Northeast 163rd Street and Northeast 15th Avenue.

Sky 10 was over the scene as a yellow tarp covered a body on a sidewalk.

Police said the 17-year-old boy was sitting at a bus stop when several people approached him and began shooting, striking him and a nearby woman who was also waiting at the bus stop.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.

"The guy shot him five times and walked over his body and gave him another bullet to his head," witness Randy McCoy told Local 10 News.

Local 10 was there when three men matching the description of the shooters were apprehended less than a mile away as they tried to board a Miami Mini-Bus.

The woman who was shot was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center. Her condition was not known.

Police did not reveal a motive for the shooting.
