MIAMI - Occupy Miami and other community organizers are joining protesters from across the country in May Day rallies.
Labor organizations and other community activists will convene Tuesday as part of a national day of action and general strike to show solidarity with the Occupy Movement.
Organizers say it's the flagship Occupy Miami event planned for the year. They're encouraging supporters to skip out on work, class and other obligations.
Participants are expected to discuss issues such as illegal foreclosures in South Florida, corporate money in Washington and wealth discrepancy.
