Officials seek woman with mental health needs last seen at West Park public library

Karen Hodge, 58, suffers from schizophrenia, may be disoriented

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Officials are searching for a 58-year-old woman who has developmental delays and mental health needs.

According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office, Karen Hodge was last seen Thursday afternoon at a public library in West Park at 4735 SW 18th St.

Hodges, who has the mental capacity of a young child and suffers from schizophrenia, may be disoriented and in need of medical attention.

Hodge is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black headband, brown shirt, black pants and slippers.

Anyone with any information on Hodge's whereabouts is asked to contact local law enforcement.
