MIAMI - On this date, perhaps the most popular description of Africa is one of dry deseret heat or tropical heat. Yet, the continent also has high mountains accompanied by cold temperatures and snow. On this date in 1935, Ifrane, Morocco reported a cold -11 degrees to set the all-time low temperature for the continent.
