MIAMI - On this date, a few interesting facts occurred on this date in history. In 1843, an alligator reportedly fell from the sky during a Charleston, S.C. thunderstorm. Now that the absurd is out of the way, Santa Barbara, Calif., recorded its hottest ever temperature of 109 degrees in 1985
