HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -

A man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning in Hollywood.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. in a neighborhood on Jackson Street near South 24th Avenue. Police say two to four people were seen running from a home in the area.

Several police cars were at the scene and officers closed off most of the block.

One neighbor, who lives across the street, said the apartment building has been a problem in the neighborhood for a while and needs to be "cleaned up."

Other neighbors described the victim as a nice guy. They say he was a tattoo artist and sometimes worked out of his home.

The victim's identity has not been released at this time.
