Pastrana was with friends at her Northwest Fourth Terrace home July 5 when she heard a knock on the door, opened it and was confronted by Feria, Miami police Officer Kenia Reyes said.

Detectives said Feria, apparently enraged by the fact that Pastrana had company, pushed his way inside, grabbed her by the hair, pulled out a gun and shot her several times.

Pastrana died at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.

Feria got away.
