FORT LAUDERDALE BEACH, Fla. – Part of A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach reopened as crews continued cleaning up the roadway.
A1A from Sebastian Street north to Sunrise Boulevard and A1A southbound from E. Sunrise Boulevard reopened Tuesday morning. A1A remains closed from Sunrise Boulevard north to NE 20th Street.

Portions of the roadway have been shut down since the weekend after high tide flooded the area.
City officials hope to have the roadway reopened by Thursday.
