Mittermaier was ordered and admitted to the facility by a court because of her mental health status, Pembroke Pines police said.

About 4:07 p.m., a person was seen exiting a black BMW with a California license plate and throwing a rope ladder over a fence, police said.

Mittermaier then used the rope to climb over the fence and then went to the BMW.

Police believe Mittermaier is in the company of David Thomas Sankey, 55, who is believed to be the driver of the BMW.
