Plane lands safely at Fort Lauderdale International after bird strike

DANIA BEACH, Fla. - JetBlue flight 1751 from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was forced to return shortly after takeoff Monday morning after a bird struck the plane's right engine.

The plane was headed to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Passengers were loaded onto a new plane and continued to their trip.

No one was hurt.
