PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. -

Police say a 26-year-old woman who suffers from schizophrenia and went missing Thursday has been found.

Pembroke Pines police said Erica Borges went missing Thursday.

A family friend called Borges' sister, Vanessa Silva, at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, saying that they saw Borges walking on Haulover Beach.

Silva immediately called the Pembroke Pines Police Department afterwards, said police.

Detectives, while in contact with the family friend via telephone, notified the Miami-Dade Police Department who responded to the missing persons location and recovered Borges in good condition.
