At least two people were treated for heat exhaustion.

"There were some people passing out for the heat, " said South Miami Police Corp. Alexander Hechavarria.

The job was made more difficult by some fans who climbed atop railroad trellises outside the AmericanAirlines Arena (pictured below). Others apparently climbed on top of police cars.

"The only other people that we got caught were on top of our cars," added Hechavarria. "I guess they wanted to stand and see the parade."

No arrests were reported.
