Police said Jennifer Senatore broke a window in the front of the house. She then allegedly made her way into the home through a back door with Kevin Skolnick.
At that time, the two girls went and hid inside the bathroom.
"Do you know the people that's inside your home?" asked the dispatcher.
"No. They broke the window," said the girl.
According to police, Senatore stole an HP laptop and an Apple cell phone worth about $1,000.
"Are you in the home by yourself?" the dispatcher asked the girl.
"No. I'm with my sister. Hurry up!" replied the girl.
Senatore and Skolnick then left the home, police said. Senatore was later apprehended and taken into custody. At that time, police found marijuana in her car.
When questioned, Skolnick claimed that he stood outside the home and pleaded with Senatore to not go inside.
The girls were in touch with their father before calling 911. He arrived home shortly before police arrived.
Police charged Skolnick, 45, with burglary and grand theft. They charged Senatore, 30, with burglary, grand theft, and possession of marijuana.
