Man enters Wal-Mart with gun, empties out cash safe

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Wal-Mart in Miami Gardens on Saturday.

According to police, a man entered the Wal-Mart at 17650 NW 2nd Avenue and walked past the customer service counter to the accounting office door.

When the customer service clerk asked him what he was doing in the restricted area, he said he was there to do electrical repairs.

As another employee unlocked and entered the accounting office, the man followed behind and said he had a gun, police say.

The man emptied out the cash safe, then walked out of the office and left the store.

The man is described as between 30 and 40 years old, 6 feet tall, 240 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black and white glove on his right hand, a white shirt with blue lettering on right chest, a black hooded jacket with gray lining, a black baseball cap with front and back white lettering, wheeling a red and black duffel bag, and armed with a handgun.
