Deputies say Santos' girlfriend realized her jewelry was missing on Oct. 18, one day after she had taken it off and placed it in to her nightstand.

She found the missing jewelry at Coral Financial Pawn Shop, deputies say. The owner of the shop told police the jewelry had been pawned by Santos during several different visits to the shop, and that Santos claimed to be the owner of the jewelry.
