Police release video from Papa John's armed robbery

Clerk held at gunpoint, police search for robbers

WESTON, Fla. - Police have released surveillance video of a robbery at a Papa John's in Weston Tuesday night.

Around 11:30 p.m., two men entered the Papa John's at 50 Indian Trace and held the clerk at gunpoint.

An employee of the restaurant told Local 10's Ben Kennedy that the thieves got away with about $200. He says they don't keep much cash in the register at night.

No injuries were reported.

Police hope that if someone recognizes the robbers, it will lead to an arrest.
