Police search for hit-and-run driver in fatal accident

15-year-old Justin Flowers was hit Sunday morning while crossing West Broward Boulevard

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Police are searching for a vehicle they believe to be involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a teenager dead.

The vehicle (similar to picture below) struck and killed 15-year-old Justin Flowers Sunday morning, around 1:06 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Broward Boulevard. The person driving that vehicle did not stop.

"He was just always funny to be around. He was always full of life. He was respectful," said Flower's sister, Tatyana Flowers.

Officials are looking for a dark green or black, older model, possibly 2005, four-door Grand Cherokee Jeep with tinted windows and a luggage rack.

"I just want who ever hurt my little brother behind bars, or whatever consequences that come their way because this is not justice. This isn't right," said Flowers.

Anyone with any information on this hit-and-run is asked to call 954-828-5825.
