MIAMI – A man was shot by a security guard after a thwarted robbery attempt in Miami, police said.
The shooting happened Thursday morning at the Price Choice Foodmarket on Northeast Second Avenue.
Miami police said the would-be robber was shot in the forearm by the guard and was taken to a hospital, where he is expected to recover.
The events leading to the shooting are still unclear.
