CORAL GABLES, Fla. - A woman who police say was wandering in and out of strangers' rooms at Coral Gables Hospital has been taken to another hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

Coral Gables police said hospital staff reported Sunday morning that a woman was loitering in the hospital, going into the rooms of patients she did not know.

The daughter of one of the patients told police that the woman had left identification behind.

Just before noon, officers found the woman, identified as Daysmarys Giz, 34, at 2350 Douglas Road.

Police said the woman was "exhibiting unusual behavior," and they deemed her a threat to herself.

Giz was taken to Larkin Hospital for psychiatric evaluation under the Baker/Marchman Act.
