Police: Woman sexually assaulted on Fla. Turnpike

PALM BEACH, Fla. – Police are searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on the Florida Turnpike at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said the woman had a flat tire and pulled over to the side of the road between the Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter exits.

A man driving a white vehicle pulled over to ask the woman if she needed help, according to police.

The victim told police after telling the man she needed assistance removing her hub cap, the man followed her to her car, pushed her in and sexually assaulted her.

Police are asking anyone who may have been driving northbound on the Florida Turnpike between 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, and may have seen the two vehicles, to contact police at 1-800-458-TIPS or Detective Carey Jimenez at 561-688-4146.
