Wednesday, August 8th is the last day to request an absentee ballot for the August 12th primary election.

Absentee ballots must be back at the board of elections by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday (election day). Remember if you are mailing your ballot, postage will be $1.10 if you have voted before, and $1.30 if it is your first time because a copy of your drivers license must be included.
Early voting for Florida's primary elections began last Saturday morning in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

In Miami-Dade County, you can vote from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. through Aug. 11.
In Broward, the times are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If you can't make it during those times, you can always vote in the regular primary of Tuesday Aug. 14.
