A couple of Broward County voters had to wait a little longer to cast their ballots in Plantation.
Workers at the poll location at 4140 Peters Road were unable to get a hold of the man who had the keys to the building in time for the polls to open.
"The gentleman who has the key works in Pompano or some place so we weren't able to communicate with him over the weekend but once we got the key and got back to the location, we got everything back up and going," said Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes.
The polls opened about 7:30 a.m. Snipes said only two people came to vote before then and neither were turned away.
The Broward Sheriff's Office was also called to the polling location after a man was found inside the building by poll workers.
"He didn't appear to belong there. He didn't appear to know anything about the location, where the equipment was," said Snipes.
The man left before deputies arrived. Snipes said ballots and voting equipment inside the building were not tampered with.
