(CNN) -

Mitt and Ann Romney's five sons, often dubbed the "Romney boys," took to comedian Conan O'Brien's couch Wednesday night where they received some playful mocking and lightheartedly described their father, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.

Fashioned with name tags after O'Brien admitted "I really honestly don't know who's who and I've been looking at your pictures for days," Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben and Craig described some of the pranks delivered in the Romney household.

Matt said his father often asks someone to smell a food and then covers their faces with the butter or whipped cream.

"You're ending up with stuff all over your face," Matt said on TBS' "Conan" before describing a stunt of his own.

During Romney's first presidential bid in 2008, Matt played audio over the phone of then-California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose endorsement Mitt Romney was hoping to secure, to impersonate a phone call. Video of the stunt was played on the show and greeted with laughs from Romney's sons.

Although Romney has received a reputation as a sometimes stiff candidate, Craig said his Dad was a fan of the "Taco! Burrito! What's coming out of our Speedo?" skit on "Saturday Night Live," made famous by Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri and had it stuck in his head for about five years.

"Anytime you mentioned the words 'taco' or 'burrito' you knew my Dad would chime in, 'Taco, burrito, what's coming out of your Speedo?" Craig said.

But the jean-clad offspring could not escape jokes about their appearance.

"We have three extra Romneys on back-up that can be brought in at any time. That's Tragg, Lagg and Bernie right there," O'Brien said as a shot of three men, similarly attired to the Romneys, appeared on the screen.

During a "true or false" section of the show, O'Brien made light of the former Massachusetts governor's perfectly coiffed hair.

"True or false, your Dad's hair is chiseled out of imported African mahogany?" O'Brien asked.

"That is true," Tagg responded with a laugh.

When O'Brien showed a picture of the large Romney clan, he described it as "absolutely incredible."

"You can tell when you guys get together there's a global khaki shortage. There's panic worldwide," O'Brien said.

Josh, who said the five sons prefer to be referred to as "brothers" instead of "boys," joked that they were "thinking about starting a boy band." The third oldest also said he was hesitant about his father launching another bid for the White House.

"We knew what we were getting into this time and so we were definitely more hesitant," Josh said.

Matt said he was "really reluctant."

"I didn't want him to do it. I tried to convince him not to. I think there were a few of us that tried that," Matt said. "For us as family this isn't the best thing, but as Josh said, for the country we think it's the right thing."
