When it comes to Medicare fraud, we're number one. Miami is the epicenter of bogus billings for Medicare services.
But the U.S. Attorney and F.B.I. are cracking down and this week they busted 59 people here who are said to have been engaged in Medicare fraud.
Why is it so rampant? What's being done to reduce it? Local 10 senior political reporter, Michael Putney sits down with U.S. Attorney Wifredo Ferrer and F.B.I Special Agent in Charge of the Miami office John Gillies.
Plus, the governor comes to town to sign a bill banning government from doing business with companies that trade with Cuba.
But the ink is barely dry, before he says the new law is unenforceable.
