Goldstein made headlines in Pompano Beach in 1998 by placing a giant foam finger (above) in his yard.

Goldstein told Local 10 News then that he put the 11-foot tall sculpture of a hand in his yard so boaters on the Intracoastal would see it and slow down.

For family reasons, the entire statue cannot be shown, but its middle finger was extended upward.

Goldstein told us at the time he bought the prop from the ABC sitcom "Spin City".
