MIAMI – Humberto dissipated over the Atlantic Ocean on Wednesday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
Thursday evening, Humberto was about 895 miles west-southwest of the Azores with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph. It was moving east at 9 mph.

Forecasters expected the remnants of Humberto to move toward the northeast at a faster rate of forward speed for the next day or so.
