MIAMI – Repairs were underway Tuesday after a subcontractor with the Florida Power & Light Company broke the line again one day after repairs were made to the same water main in Miami.
The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department had to repair a 12-inch water main the subcontractor broke Monday near Southwest 112th Street and Southwest 135th Avenue.

As a result, Southwest 112th Street was closed between Southwest 132nd to 137th avenues for the duration of the repair. Water was restored after the line was repaired Monday.
On Tuesday, authorities said the subcontractor broke the line again. Repairs were underway afterwards.
