MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – State records show Bamboo Garden, across from The Mall at 163rd Street, was ordered shut by state inspectors after a roach issue was found in the kitchen.
This is the third time the restaurant has been ordered shut since 2013.

State records show inspectors were at the restaurant 10 times in 2013; six times in 2014; seven times in 2015 and three times this year.
The average restaurant is inspected twice a year.
La Bodega on Kendall Drive was also ordered shut during a routine inspection.

At the time of this post, it does not appear Bamboo Garden has been allowed to re-open based on state records.
La Bodega was allowed to re-open following an ordered clean up and re-inspection.
