Reward offered for arrest of man wanted on fraud charges

Ronald Zepeda, 29, believed to frequent Pompano Beach area

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a man who is wanted on fraud and identity theft charges.

Ronald Zepeda, 29, is wanted on five felony counts of fraud and is known to frequent the Pompano Beach area.

Detectives said he produced fake insurance cards for people and was in possession of fictitious documents, including social security cards.

He is described as a Hispanic man, who is about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

Zepeda drives a silver four-door 1999 Honda Civic, which bears Florida tag 990NQD.

Anyone with information about Zepeda's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Tips can be made anonymously.
