Reward offered for information about Hollywood serial robbers

Police: 6 businesses robbed by 2 black men from Sept. 3 - Oct. 3

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A total reward of $15,500 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of two men who were caught on surveillance cameras robbing multiple businesses throughout the city of Hollywood.

Crime Stoppers is offering $3,000, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering $10,000 and Family Dollar is offering $2,500 for information.

According to authorities, two black men armed with semi-automatic handguns robbed several businesses from Sept. 3 to Oct. 3. The businesses targeted were Family Dollar, 7-11, Subway, Pizza Hut, Advanced Auto Parts and an adult video store.

In each of the robberies, the victims' hands were bound with duct tape or computer wire. In two of the robberies, the victims, who were only seven and 12 years old, were also duct taped.

Police said the culprits wore hooded sweatshirts and dark pants in each of the robberies. They also concealed their faces with pantyhose or a surgical mask. One of the suspects is believed to have a lip piercing.
