HOLLYWOOD, Fla. –
Traffic was backed up for miles Sunday morning following two crashes on I-95, one of which involved a Hollywood police officer, authorities report.

The first accident occurred just after 7:30 a.m. on northbound I-95 between the Stirling Road and the Griffin Road exits, resulting in a black SUV rolling over, the Hollywood Police Department said.
One patient was taken to an area trauma center as a result of that crash.
A Hollywood police officer crashed a patrol vehicle on the southbound portion of I-95 while responding to the first crash, police said.
Both crashes are being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol.
