BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Katie Leach resigned from her position on the School Board of Broward County.
Leach cited her and her family's move as the reason.

"I will truly miss the community that I have come from and have been honored to serve, the many talented teachers and principals who have dedicated their lives to educating students," she wrote in a letter.
Leach's last day will be Dec. 21.
