Several people injured in 2-vehicle crash in Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Police are investigating a crash that left several people injured Monday afternoon in Pembroke Pines.

The crash was reported about 4:30 p.m. at Southwest 72nd Avenue and Pembroke Road.

The Pembroke Pines Police Department said Falbiola St. Cyr, 42, was driving a Mazda CX7 east on Pembroke Road when he turned into the path of a Honda Accord, driven by Alex English, 21.

Police said a passenger in the Mazda was ejected from the car. The driver of the car was treated at the scene.

Three people inside the Honda were taken to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed as officials investigated the crash.

Police said charges may be brought after the investigation is concluded.
