FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A man charged with shooting another man in Fort Lauderdale will remain in jail on no bond, a judge ruled Monday.

Jamichael Warner, 23, was arrested Sunday. The shooting happened outside of home in the 3400 hundred block of West Broward Boulevard about 10:25 a.m. Sunday.

Warner, 23, shot Antonio Brinson after a fight, say police. Warner then fired his gun in to the air as he ran away.

Warner later surrendered to police.

Brinson, 33, was transported to Broward Health Medical Center for a gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition, say police.

Warner is charged with one count of aggravated battery with a firearm; one count of violation of probation; one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; and, one count of display of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
