MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Police are investigating after multiple shots were fired Wednesday morning in northwest Miami-Dade County.
The shots were fired near Northwest 23rd Avenue and Northwest 50th Street.
Miami-Dade police said the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other for about a block. No injuries were reported, but some vehicles in the area were struck.
Sky 10 was above the scene as several shell casings were found near an AT&T service truck parked in the area.
Brownsville Middle School was briefly placed on lockdown as a precaution.
