South Fla. residents can take part in their own 'Purge'

MIAMI – Everyone loves a horror film, as long as you're safe on the other side of the screen.

But this time, you're in the middle of the chaos in "The Purge: Breakout."

"The Purge: Breakout" is an immersive escape experience that is based on the world of "The Purge" film series.

Ahead of the release of "The Purge: Anarchy" on July 18, you get the chance to experience a purge in person.

South Florida thrill chasers will go inside the movie as part of this interactive, real-life video game experience. It's up to you and your team to get out alive.
