PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – Spirit Airlines is one of the world's worst airlines, according to BusinnessInsider.
To make matters worse, the airline was the only U.S. carrier to appear on the list.

Spirit comes in at 11th worst, wedged right between Pegasus Airlines from Turkey and Syrian Air.
The worst airline in the world is Turkmenistan Airlines from the Central Asia country of Turkmenistan.
The list was compiled using ratings data from SkyTrax. The ratings were based on reviews regarding customer service, cabin cleanliness, responding to requests, enthusiasm/attitude and explanations for add-on charges and baggage.
