MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. ā Police have released surveillance video in which Molotov cocktails were thrown into three Miami-Dade County homes.
Miami-Dade police said the incident occurred April 29.
Investigators said officers arrived at 1171 NW 141st St. to a report of shots being fired. When they arrived, residents told them someone in an unknown vehicle had opened fire at the home and then thrown what appeared to be a Molotov cocktail, a type of explosive.
Shortly after, a second call came in and police arrived to 1415 NE 147th St. to find that shots had been fired and a Molotov cocktail had been thrown at the home as well.
Finally, a residential fire was reported at 1160 NW 141st St., in the same neighborhood as the first shooting. Police said Miami-Dade Fire Rescue extinguished the fire, caused by a Molotov cocktail.
No injuries were reported, but one of the families has since moved out.
Police continue to investigate.
