Target was the center of some internet buzz this week when a shopper with a sharp eye tweeted a picture of a plus-size dress that had an awkward color name.
On Tuesday, @suZen tweeted a photo pointing out the difference in the gray color names given to a Mossimo Womens Kimono Maxi Dress.

"Dark Heather Gray" is listed for the misses sizes, while "manatee gray" is listed as the color for the plus-size selections.
@suZen captioned the photo with, "What the. Plus sized women get "Manatee Grey" while standard sizes are "Dark Heather Grey."
Target tweeted her back with, "Hey Susan - I'm sharing your comments with the appropriate team and they will review your them as soon as possible. Thanks! –Bryan."
They later followed up with, "We apologize for this unintentional oversight & never intend to offend our guests. We've heard you, and we're working to fix it ASAP."
In an explanation to Forbes, a Target spokesperson said there are a bunch of other products they carry with the color "Manatee Gray."
The spokesperson also told Forbes that two different teams of buyers responsible for the product lines, and it appears they didn't coordinate the product information.
