TAVERNIER, Fla. – A Tavernier man was arrested Thursday after he ran from detectives who came to serve a search warrant at his home, Monroe County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Becky Herrin said.
Francisco Guevara, 37, was arrested on drug charges.

Herrin said detectives were serving the search warrant at 582 Beach Road when they saw Guevara getting out of a Ford F-150 pickup truck. She said Guevara ran to the back of the home, but he was apprehended.
Detectives said they found crack cocaine, synthetic marijuana, heroin and other drugs inside the home. They also found a gun and ammunition.
Guevara also faces a charge of resisting a law enforcement officer without violence. He was booked into the Monroe County Detention Center.
