PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – A 16-year-old boy died Monday evening after being struck by a car in Pembroke Pines.
The crash was reported near 115th Avenue and Pines Boulevard.

Police said Alexander Focante, 42, was driving west on Pines Boulevard when the unidentified teen stepped in the road outside a crosswalk and was struck.
The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
