Thief obtains almost a dozen credit cards using stolen identity

Surveillance cameras show thief making purchases at TigerDirect, Kohl's

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who used an Oakland Park man's identity to obtain almost a dozen credit cards.

Warren Stoeber, 63, told investigators he received a bill for purchases made with a new Sears credit card in the mail on May 15. As more bills came, he realized someone had used his identity to obtain at least 11 fraudulent credit cards.

Surveillance video shows the thief, described as a balding Hispanic male in his 60s, purchase a computer from TigerDirect and 20 gift cards from Kohl's.
