Thieves break into Pompano Beach Metro PCS store

Display phones, box of accessories stolen

POMPANO BEACH. Fla. – Police are searching for the thieves who broke into a Metro PCS store Monday morning in Pompano Beach.

The burglary was reported at about 6:15 a.m. at 623 E. Atlantic Blvd.

The store owner told Local 10 News that someone was walking along Atlantic Boulevard when they saw the thieves smash in through the front windows and called 911.

The owner said four display phones and a box of accessories were stolen, but the thieves did not get away with any cash.

According to the owner, his surveillance cameras are not working and a nearby store owner does not have any security cameras. He said his store was previously targeted in 2012.

No employees were inside the store at the time of the burglary.
