A tractor-trailer overturned Monday on U.S. Highway 27, spilling aluminum rolls it was carrying onto the highway near mile marker 42 in western Broward County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the driver swerved to avoid tire debris from another truck and lost control.
The FHP said the driver suffered minor injuries.
All southbound traffic was diverted to the northbound lanes while workers cleaned the debris. All lanes reopened about 5:30 p.m.
