"Our credit union is made up of everyday, hard-working people who've pooled their money together to help each other financially and to help the community," said Rich Helber, CEO and president of Tropical Financial. "These are the same types of people who are doing selfless acts on a daily or weekly basis to make Southeast Florida a better place to work and live.  And while we know there are many local heroes out there, we want to honor one who has gone above and beyond the call of duty."
