Truck gets stuck on FL Turnpike guardrail
Northbound lanes shut down at Griffin Road for several hours
All northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike are reopened after a truck that went over the guardrail was towed away.
It's unclear what caused the truck to end up going over the concrete guardrail before 6:45 a.m. Northbound traffic was backed up for miles as a result. All lanes were reopened by 8:40 a.m.
The truck was towed away and workers were sent out to fix the broken concrete.
For several hours, traffic was redirected onto a temporary access road in order to get around the truck.
